An entertaining night of stories told by local storytellers. The topic for this month is Shelf Life;
For 80 years, Kitsap Regional Library has been a place where knowledge, memories, and stories are collected and preserved. Shelf Life invites storytellers to share moments that have lasted—experiences that have stayed with us, shaped us, or earned a permanent place in our personal collection.
Open for audience members to get up on stage, tell true autobiographical stories about their life and experience set to the theme of Shelf Life. Stories should be about five minutes in length, no poems, note cards, songs, or props. It's the imperfections that make stories authentic and truly meaningful. There will also be anonymous slips that you can write smaller stories if you don't want to get up on stage that will be read aloud between speakers as part of Story Night.
Presented by the Roxy Theatre, Kitsap Regional Library, and Bremerton Story Night. Free and open to all ages.
