Events › Poetry Walk in Fish Park

This program is taking place at Fish Park in Poulsbo between 4/9 and 5/31.

Kitsap Regional Library, the City of Poulsbo, and Poulsbo Friends of the Library invite you to celebrate poetry. Throughout the park, you will find 10 signs that each feature a nature poem. Inspired by Poetry Walks in Olympic National Park, our Poetry Walks is the second installation in Washington state. We hope you enjoy the self-guided tour of experiencing nature poems in nature’s landscape.

Poetry Walks coincides with National Poetry Month, which begins on April 1st and was introduced in 1996 by the Academy of American Poets as a way to increase awareness and appreciation for poetry in the United States.
